Service Tip of the Month - March
It's important to inspect your tires once a month and before you go on long trips. You want to check how much your tires have worn down and if there are any damaged areas. Tire depth effects your car's ability to grip the road in adverse conditions. If you want to check your tires on your own there are a couple easy steps to follow and you only need one tool, a penny!
1.) With a penny in your hand hold Lincoln's body between your thumb and forefinger.

2.) Find the point on your tire where the tread appears to be the lowest and place Lincoln's head into one of the grooves.
3.) If any part of Lincoln's head is covering the tire tread then you are driving with a safe amount of tread. However, If your tread gets below Lincoln's head (approximately 2/32 of an inch) you may be in need of new tires!
There is however another option:
1.) Stop by the service lane for a free professional tire check! If it's determined that you need new tires you'll be in luck. All of our brand named tires are on sale for cost plus $1!
